This simple free set includes 4 top down 2D SNES inspired woodland characters. Each spritesheet is built for a 32x32 grid. Animation sprites for this Bird, Cat, Fox, and Raccoon include a standard 8 frame run animation in four directions and a single frame of standing/idle for each direction.

This is absolutely amazing. Are you available for commissioned work? Looking for an 8 direction version of this set.
These days I'm too busy to take on anything extra... I do include the working file so anyone can expand upon it as needed, or feel free to take this to another artist to expand on. I'm simply overworked at my normal job each day!

You're right. It's more of an Idle frame than an animation. I'll work on that!
Sorry this took so long but I added Idle animations now.
Also improved run up animation state which had errors.

i would totally pay for several different parrot version of the bird sprites. Let me know if you are willing and I can share pics of some of the birds for color scheme. I plan to use them for a bird rescue.

OH totally, same haircut too lol! I based it on Falco from Star Fox 64, or the Ruto people in the Switch Zelda games.
