This was exactly what I was looking for.  Love this style of pixel art and it works perfectly with GB Studio.  The reference page helps a lot.  I see that the Ninja mode is coming soon and I'm looking forward to that.  Couldn't wait so I bought the other pack to tide me over until then.  I've always wanted to make a GB Studio game but could never find the right assets.  If you make any more content (Maps, Tilesets, etc) I'll probably be your first customer.

Hi! Thank you for all your lovely feedback! I'm still working away at the ninja mode + the GB studio pallet for these characters. I haven't yet put together a full set of GB Pallet Ninjas but I would create those if it's something you're wanting to work with. Here's a sneak peek at the look of the ninjas in color. (Almost done, just working on sword+shield states). I'll attach a screenshot of the GB pallet mode too.  I have made a few GB Studio demos with these assets but they do take up a lot of the available character tiles so getting the animation states just right can be a small challenge. Thanks again for your support and kind words. I'll try to update soon to keep ya going!

These are perfect! Working on an action rpg game and would love to use these.I'm doing my best to actually complete a game, a short demo is what i want. Thank you!

Thank you so much! I made these characters because it was so hard to find simple, colorful, retro style sprites on itch. Are you using Unity2D? If so, feel free to ask my any questions about rigging up these sprites/animations as I'm always testing them in my own demo game. Cheers!

also, not to be picky but can you provide a guide for the full sprite sheet, meaning what animation is supposed to be what? Sorry, to bother you. I really do like this pack, and just want to use it to is full effect. :)

Hello again, I have now included sprite sheets for movement with a shield, and without a shield. Also a sprite sheet for Sword Only, and Sword + Shield. The guide will come next!

Heyo, thank you so much. I really appreciate it. Im glad i got this, I look forward to hopefully seeing more in the future, keep up the great work! Thanks again!

Hello,

First off, Awesome project, thank you. I am using it as the base of the game I am working on and will share it with you when its done. But second, I cannot find the Sword animations without the shields, are they not included anymore? I would very much like them please. I dont use Asprite so the regular sprite sheet would be appreciated. Thanks and keep up the great work!

Hi! Thank you for supporting my project. I tailored this work for Aseprite but I will definitely make all the changes you've asked for. I plan to have these completed before tomorrow so you aren't held up. The shields are an aseprite layer that I'll just need to turn off and export as a "Sword only" sheet. I can also provide a guide and some recommendations for frame-rates/animation steps for each animation. Thanks again and I appreciate your feedback!
