MOON CYCLES, NIGHT/DAY CYCLE, ENEMY RESPAWN.
OKAY LOTS OF UPDATES
Most of the changes made in this update are built off of the 12 hour in game clock that I built a few weeks ago.
- NIGHT PALETTE
The overworld now updates in real time to reflect a daytime palette, or a nighttime palette. Daytime is from 6:00AM until 6:00PM each night. During the night time, the clock displays the current phase of the moon. During the day, a Sun icon is displayed. Daytime and Nighttime are both approximately 12 mins long. There's a slight flicker when each outdoor scene initializes when its nighttime. Will fix. - MOON CYCLES
I have yet to fully use these but I do think it will come in handy at some point. If the player has not gone to bed, at the stroke of midnight the scene will switch to quickly tell you when a new day and moon cycle has begun. - ENEMY RESPAWN
All enemies now store which day they were killed on and will respawn the day following. I don't like it when enemies respawn immediately when you leave and return to a scene, but I also don't want them killed permanently so a 24 hour death period feels accurate.
